Four minutes from now, you’ll be in Part 0.
Enrollment is free and takes one email. The same address works for everything else too — questions, corrections to our material, mentorship, or bringing DevModules to your team. A human reads every message.

Do the four-minute exercise
Part 0, exercise 1: you’ll trace what happens when you press Enter on a URL — using nothing but your own browser.
Set your weekly rhythm
Tell the planner how many hours you have; it lays your 36 weeks out on a calendar you can actually keep.
Meet your reviewer at Part 0’s end
Your first capstone gets human eyes. It’s the moment most learners say the school “got real”.
The questions everyone asks first.
Is it actually free?
Enrolling and working through all seven parts, 243 exercises, and every workshop costs nothing. We charge for optional human services — one-on-one mentorship and per-capstone engineer reviews beyond the included ones. That’s the whole business model, stated plainly.
How much time do I need?
The 36-week schedule assumes about ten hours a week. Half that pace works fine — parts don’t expire and the planner adjusts. What doesn’t work is zero hours a week; no curriculum survives that.
I’ve already done some tutorials. Where do I start?
Take Part 0 anyway — it’s two weeks and most self-taught developers have gaps exactly there. If Parts 1–2 feel easy, the exercises will go quickly and the capstone reviews will tell you honestly when to accelerate.
Do I get a certificate?
You get something better: seven reviewed, public capstone projects and a final product with a live URL. Employers we talk to read repositories, not PDFs. (Yes, we’ll still issue a completion letter if your employer needs one.)
Can my company use DevModules to train juniors?
Yes — write to info@devmodules.fuller.edu. Team cohorts get a shared review pool, progress reporting, and scheduling around your sprint calendar. Note that course materials remain ours under the Terms of Service; team licensing covers usage, not redistribution.
What hardware do I need?
Any computer from the last several years that runs Windows, macOS, or Linux and lets you install software. Node.js, Git, and a code editor are the whole toolchain; Week 1 walks you through each install.
